Why Work With Me?
What sets me apart from other freelancers out there?
You know that feeling when you’re fully immersed in what you’re doing, it’s almost like you’re in a sensory deprivation chamber? You forget to eat lunch or drink water (never coffee, though. You always have coffee). Suddenly, you spot your dog in your peripheral vision, and he’s staring at you like you’re a squirrel in his favorite patch of grass, and you realize it’s 5:00—his dinner time. How did four hours go by in a blink of an eye? That’s how I feel when I’m immersed in your organization’s unique story, creating your style guide, branded templates, white papers, webpages, and case studies for your small business.
I love what I do. And with extensive experience in writing, branding, project management, and systems management, I am uniquely positioned to help your business boost efficiency, make marketing a breeze, and build brand loyalty through your content.
I understand that your mission is paramount. Having worked with non-profits, consulting firms, and higher education institutions, I know that while consistently producing high-quality, readable, eye-catching content that demonstrates your values and fits your standard guidelines is essential, it often falls to the sidelines. That’s where I come in.
My goal is to take the weight of brand-building off your shoulders, allowing you to concentrate on what truly matters: your organization’s purpose. While you focus on the technical side of your business, I'm working diligently behind the scenes to write content, create branded templates, and build an intranet that will significantly enhance your marketing efficiency and aesthetics in the long term.
By developing reusable, visually appealing templates, such as my comprehensive PPT base template featuring your logo, brand colors, and various slide formats, I make your marketing efforts smoother and more efficient. This saves you time, ensures high-level content consistency, and makes creating professional presentations a breeze.
My goal is to build lasting marketing assets that not only look great but also support your core identity, making your brand more consistent, authentic, and successful.
My unique approach, combining expert content strategy with efficient project management, ensures you have more time to dedicate to your goals, with the confidence that your brand is in expert hands.
I hope to speak with you soon!
Sincerely,
Norrie Beach

Norrie Beach
BRAND COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST
Norrie Beach is the founder, owner, president, CEO, brand specialist, writer, and content manager at Norrie Beach Brand Communications. In fact, she is the only (human) employee.
Norrie’s love for words and storytelling started when she was young. She wrote epic adventures, most of which featured her twin sister and, inexplicably, a sasquatch. At age eight, she wrote an epic poem called “Put on Your Pajamas” in protest of her mother’s request that she do that very thing. She continued to write and read voraciously into college.
After graduating, she worked as a Program Coordinator for Harvard Business School's Executive Education, where she was first introduced to the nuts and bolts of brand strategy, learning from some of the best teachers in the world.
After moving to Virginia during the pandemic, she transitioned into nonprofit work as a Program Coordinator for QuestBrige, an organization that offers scholarships to low-income, high-potential students. She learned even more from the students than she had from the Harvard professors, most importantly that who you are doing the work for is always more important than what the work is. Her work helped amplify voices and stories that might otherwise remain unheard, reinforcing her belief in the importance of a well-crafted message.
Norrie’s next adventure led her to the consulting world, where she joined a firm as an Editorial Manager. It was during a major rebranding project that she truly found her calling. Immersed in redefining the firm’s identity, she fell in love with creating style guides and redesigning templates. This experience was a turning point, revealing her talent for organizing thoughts into cohesive narratives but also for visually expressing a brand’s essence.
Compelled by what Michael Gerber aptly calls an “Entrepreneurial Seizure,” she spent many months working on the blueprint for her BRand Communications Design business. Ideas bounced around in her head constantly, and she even dreamed of the business (sure, the dream involved teaming up with her sister’s cat, Spooky, to create a feline branding firm, but a dream is a dream, okay?). Eventually, she was brave enough to take the leap, and she now makes a living creating brand assets that help her clients bring their brand stories to life. She loves every second of it.
Whether you’re a small business looking to rebrand, a startup needing a solid marketing foundation, or an established company seeking to refine your marketing assets, Norrie is here to help you tell your story in a way that truly connects and inspires.

Nemo Mitchell-Beach
CHIEF BARKETING OFFICER
Nemo is the proud Chief Barketing Officer at Norrie Beach, Freelance Writing. When he's not ensuring the safety of the office from the ever-threatening UPS and FedEx trucks, he's boosting morale with his infectious enthusiasm and wagging tail.
Nemo takes his job very seriously, especially the parts that involve peanut butter, blueberries, and cheese—his preferred form of payment. His duties include cuddling on command, providing emotional support during deadlines, and conducting regular sniff inspections to maintain a stress-free work environment.
Nemo is thrilled to be part of the team, not just because of the tasty treats, but because it means his mom is often working from home, where he can keep an eye (and a nose) on everything. With Nemo around, every day at Norrie Beach is a pawsitive day!
